Rough Turning
After sawing the block is ready for rough turning. |

Turning the Outside of the Hat
With the strong hold chuck and the tail stock wood is cleared to from the outside of the hat. |

Turning the Inside of the Hat
With the outside done now it is time for the tricky part |

Topping Out
After some sanding the hat is turned around and mounted on the light box rechck and the top is finished |

Bending & Finishing
With the turning completed there is still work to be done. The hats must still bent sanded and laquered. |
